simple smoothie

There is nothing more satisfying in the summer than a refreshing smoothie. My favorite: strawberry banana. So Mr. Ritter and I busted out our under-used blender to create a deliciously fruity smoothie using this recipe (makes about 32-48 oz):
  • 10 ounces of fresh strawberries
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 cup of ice cubes
  • 3/4 cup of milk

Next, put all the ingredients in the blender and mix, stir or pulse your way to fruity bliss...

...and enjoy.

They are really good. You can substitute the sugar for honey and the milk for yogurt if you want. They are thick, fruity and delicious!
