project: dresser

Tonight Mr. Ritter and I did a little furniture refurbishing. The wooden dresser in our spare room was a little out of place with the black/white/silver/gray decor to say the least.

We used flat black wood paint and bought new hardware and mirror to give this dresser an updated look that now compliments the room. I have been talking about this project for awhile, and I'm so happy with the result.

Yay yay yay! This is the kind of stuff I LOVE!!! You just saved yourself like $400 by not buying a new one and it looks AWESOME! I have the same issue with a dresser in our master bedroom (who am I kidding - with every single piece of furniture we own) and I want to do the same thing! Hopefully this will inspire me to actually do it!!!

Thanks, everyone! We're really happy with how it turned out, and I'm glad I finally bit the bullet and painted it!
