spd + 5 random things you should know

I mentioned the other day that I'm interviewing for internships for my grad school program.
Well, homegirl hasn't been on an interview in five years.
I'm not a suit person {I've owned two actual suits ever - one of them had zebra print lapels, woah!}, but I recently purchased a bunch of new blazers for work {and probably subconsciously for my upcoming interviews}.
My interview last week was pretty casual, so I wore my cobalt blazer because it's fun and memorable.
But my interview today is more formal - at least that's the impression I got - so I wanted to feel a little classier, but still comfortable and not appear to be trying too hard.
So I consult my dear friend Pinny Pinterest {follow me @hritter18}, and here's what she suggested:

This chick looks like she's got her shiz together, right?
But the look, while pulled together, still looks effortless.
Sign me up.
Here's how I made it my own:

{blazer and earrings: Forever 21; pants: New York & Co.; belt: Old Navy; t-shirt: Target}

I have a camel-colored blazer but I really wanted to add a pattern for texture.
So plaid blazer it is.
And I've been rolling the sleeves of my blazers. That's cool to do, right?

So while you're here, pretty pants Shanna tagged me in this fun, little blogland game: Five Things - Tag You're It.
And because I'm a fan of sharing random information about myself {you can learn more about me here and here}, here are five random things you may or may not know about me:

One.
People call Shawn "Red Thunder" because of his infamous red hair.
So that makes me Mrs. Red Thunder.

Two.
My friends and I find any excuse to make homemade t-shirts.

Three.
I cannot resist a photo booth. Or a masquerade mask.
Photo booth + a mask = best day ever!

Four.
I think having sore feet is one of the worst feelings in the world!

Five.I've been a bartender.
